We've had two beautiful sunny days

It’s a little bit late, but it’s time for the Monday update!

After good success with this intention last week, my intention for this week is once again to be kind to myself. We’ve had two beautiful sunny days in Portland, and as awesome as that is, it doesn’t erase the winter or the entire year that came before it.

I’m not going to be magical cured of my entirely valid feelings of grief by two afternoons in the sun. Even though they did help a lot.
