The needle moved itself

| Video

It's the Thursday update! On Monday I told you my intention was to find something to engage my desire to see a needle move, and this week it felt like the needle moved itself.

In actuality, a lot of the things I'd been working on for a long time just came to fruition this week. It's been a good lesson in the fact that progress doesn't happen on my timeline. And especially the work I feel called to do - bringing transparency and equity to communications, combatting toxic productivity, being an anti-capitalist in a capitalist culture - doesn't get a quarterly report. The day to day can feel lonely, it can feel like progress isn't getting made, but this is generational work. Sometimes things need time to grow.

How did you do on your intentions? Put them below and don't forget to have a weekend!
