It's time for the Monday update! I'm also going on vacation for the rest of the week so there may or may not be a Thursday update this week.
I don't know about you but the stress from this election is really weighing on me. It's external, there's not a lot I can do about it, but I'm naming it and keeping it in my sights and trying to remind myself that this is just really heavy and that's why I feel so overwhelmed.
We're also not going to meet our earnings goals this month and that feels sad, but I did my best and I learned from my mistakes and I'm going to try again next month. We're only one or two clients away from the goal, but it's unlikely we'll get there today. Next month is a new month.
- Work as little as possible on vacation - I'm not going to set myself up for failure by saying no work because that's just not who I am.
- Practice gratitude - even during this stressful time, every day is a gift.
- Movement - I let stress paralyze me until this weekend and it was really nice to move my body. Remember this is unprecedented, the ground keeps shifting under our feet. It's normal to feel this way. Be good to yourself, drink water, move your body. What are your intentions? Put them below.
