Today I want to talk about motivation and intentional living. I've been thinking a lot about my movement practice, which has been severely cut down by the pandemic. I've been missing the opportunity to move my body joyfully, but thinking about this has also brought up a lot of memories about times that I used this practice to hurt myself. In trying to create goals for myself and meet them, both with my body and my business, I sometimes find myself slipping back into that pattern.
I want to discover what a healthy version of intentional growth looks like. What does it mean to be intentional about goals in a world where my highest goal is to love and nourish myself?
