I feel less bad about myself when I'm working
It's the Thursday update! On Monday I told you my intention was to welcome and gently interrogate my negative self-talk.
As soon as I decided to do that, my negative self-talk voice immediately quieted down. Of course, I've also been busier this week than I have been in a while, and historically, I feel less bad about myself when I'm working. Work has been one of the most consistent sources of praise and therefore self-esteem for me, so that may be why the negative voice has hidden itself away. I've also stuck to my intention to limit my non-client work to four hours a day.
How did you do on your intentions? Put them below and don't forget to have a weekend!
